The basin is named after the Japanese tea master, Sen no Rikyū, who first developed raku pottery, for use in traditional tea ceremonies. It is said that true beauty lies in the imperfections and pinholes of a raku surface. The RIKYU basin stands out for it’s lustrous, glazed look and hand-made crackles created by master artisans.
